Mk4 GOLF AIR VENT POD with Boost Gauge Suit Golf 1.8T, TDI etc
You are looking at a BRAND NEW Mk4 Golf Driverside Air Vent Dial Pod, with Turbo Boost Gauge (psi) This is part of a NEW range of Dials, Pods and Accessories which are unique and only available from SWG Motorsport. The Pod is a unique item which allows our boost gauge to be housed into the driverside air vent. The gauge holder has been exclusively designed from scratch for the mk4 Golf and incorporates a Turbo Boost Gauge which features a classic black face and white numbers , with a brushed aluminium bezel and is ideal for keeping that classy O.E look to your VW.
Now the interesting bit, The Pod is designed to look like the original driverside Air Vent and will still allow the vent to function correctly while still incorporating the gauge ! During daytime use the gauge remains black with white numbers , BUT when connected to the headlight switch or similar the numbers illuminate BRIGHT BLUE ( very similar to the Mk4 Golfs original dash lighting ). Not only do the numbers light up BLUE but the illumination is unique in being VERY EVEN with no bright spots or dull areas, just perfectly BLUE backlit numbers , ( See photos , infact photos do not do these gauges justice , they look stunning ).
These precision gauges feature the latest E.L technology which gives the gauge its unique illumination and stunning appearance. Please note these gauges are NOT cheap and inferior ( like some ) , but VERY RARE precision instruments from the USA.
Each gauge and Pod comes complete (Pod uses your original headlight switch and dimer unit etc ) with full fitting instructions and all the parts necessary for installation , they even have there own seperate wiring loom ( not hard wired like some other cheap dials ).
